Jewellery & accessories

Cuyuca.

A brand, from the first mark to the online shop.

A complete identity for Cuyuca, connecting jewellery and accessories with the way they are presented, packaged and bought.

01 / Overview

A world around the collection.

Cuyuca brings together jewellery and accessories with a strong sense of texture, colour and detail.

Our work connected the brand identity, packaging, tote bags, editorial materials and online shop. The archive brings those different expressions together, from the original wordmark to the 2014 collection catalogues.

02 / Identity

A name with its own shape.

Tall, narrow letters give Cuyuca a distinctive silhouette, whether the name appears on a page, a product detail or a bag.

The solid wordmark and its stencil applications share the same elongated character. Cut-out versions make the lettering part of the material itself: paper and fabric become different ways to express the brand.

03 / Packaging

Fold. Close.
Reveal.

Curved ends turn a flat sheet into a pillow-shaped box. The cut-out name gives the surface a second layer of detail.

The original artwork records the outline, folds and lettering together, with related sizes preserved in the archive. The gold presentation brings out the relationship between the box’s curved form, satin surface and open stencil.

04 / Applications

The identity goes with you.

A single-colour Cuyuca wordmark carries the brand onto a tote bag.

The original identity is printed in solid lettering, bringing its distinctive proportions to the texture of cotton. Black and cocoa-brown canvas show two expressions of the same design.

05 / Editorial

A collection,
in print.

Catalogue and lookbook materials give the collection a consistent way to be seen, compared and remembered.

The 2014 catalogue combines a restrained cover with repeated product groupings, names and references. Supporting views reveal the materials and fastening details; larger images change the pace between product pages.

The archive also preserves an A4 catalogue and the related Autumn/Winter 2014 lookbook. The selection here shows original catalogue pages.

06 / The online shop

From the collection
to the screen.

The online shop brought the same brand and product world into a digital setting.

Collection imagery, product presentation and the Cuyuca identity connected the website with its printed materials and packaging. The original web archive includes photographic openings and studies for the home page, categories and basket.

The images alongside this section are original campaign and home-page imagery from that archive.
